Chatham-Kent OPP: On April 16, 2020 at 11:04 a.m. a Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Highway 401 near the Bloomfield Road exit noticed a vehicle moving at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle was displayed on radar in excess of 160-km/h in the posted 100-km/h zone.
The driver, a 24-year-old Tecumseh, Ontario resident, was charged with Race a Motor Vehicle.
They are scheduled to appear in court on June 24 to answer to the charge.
