A free community is taking place today, Saturday, April 18, 2020, at First Baptist Church in Wallaceburg.
Pastor Brian Horrobin said the meal will take place in the church parking lot, 99 Thomas Avenue, at 5 p.m.
“First Baptist Church will be having a free, delicious, ‘heat and serve’ take out supper,” Horrobin said.
“Just show up to the church parking lot and we will give you your supper.”
Several take-out meals have been taking place and are planned in Wallaceburg in the coming weeks amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The next meal after today will be on Tuesday, April 28 at 5 p.m. at Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle on McNaughton Avenue.
Details are also being worked out for a meal to be held at Trinity United Church on Wellington Street in Wallaceburg.
