Friends and family,
As we all try to navigate through this pandemic, the health and safety of our staff, clients and anyone coming into our building is our highest priority.
We have increased cleaning and sanitizing throughout the building.
As a part of our COVID-19 action plan, we are asking that only those essential services enter the building, such as immediate need situations and mail/package delivery.
Further, we have been given the Registrar’s directive from the Bereavement Authority of Ontario to limit funerals to 10 and less people.
Please see below.
March 28, 2020 – The maximum number of people who can attend a funeral or visitation in one room at one time is 10 or fewer.
As of tonight, March 28, in keeping with the Premier’s order –
Funerals, visitations, celebrations and any other gatherings are limited to 10 or fewer people.
This number will be lower if the room can not allow people to maintain physical distancing of at least two metres (six feet) apart from each other at all times, to a maximum of 10 people in one room.
Even if you have unlimited space, or are outside, the maximum is 10.
We understand the impact this will have on families who are experiencing loss at an already difficult time. We remain ready to serve, advise and help using appropriate safety measures that will assist you as always in your time of need.
We thank you for your understanding!
The Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home has been part of the Wallaceburg community since 1943. We have a dedicated staff to meet all of your needs.
