The Lord Selkirk Bridge in Wallaceburg will be closed to traffic on Thursday, May 7, 2020.
Chatham-Kent officials say the closure is due to bridge testing and commissioning.
All lanes will be closed at the bridge between Dufferin Avenue and Wallace Street between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Detours will be set up, Municipal officials say.
Local and commercial traffic may use: Dufferin Avenue, to Wellington Street, to Fork Street, to Margaret Avenue, to Murray Street (Hwy. 40) to Reaume Avenue.
Highway 40 and heavy traffic may use: Murray Street (Hwy. 40), to Base Line, to Old Glass Road, to Mason Street, to Arnold Street, to Dufferin Avenue.
The bridge underwent a $5.3-million rehabilitation last year.
