Capitol Theatre launches COVID-19 survey

The Chatham Capitol Theatre has launched a survey, in order to gather feedback on the lasting impacts of COVID-19.

“As fellow theatre lovers, we value the importance of gathering together to enjoy a live performance – we miss the excitement of the arts coming to life before us, and the incomparable feeling of sharing that experience as part of an audience,” Capitol Theatre officials say.

“Of course, the show must… and will… go on – and we are eagerly anticipating the day that it does.”

Capitol officials added: “But the safety and health of our patrons, volunteers and artists will always come first, and as we look toward our next season, we are carefully considering what lasting impacts COVID may have when it comes to live performance venues such as ours.

Theatre officials say they hope people will take a moment to fill in the short 10 question survey.

“The survey data, which will be kept anonymous, will become part of an Ontario-wide report that will help guide all of the performing arts centres on our post-COVID operations,” Capitol Theatre officials say.

As a token of thanks for filling in the survey, the Capitol Theatre will enter people into a draw to win one of five pairs of 2021 Capitol Theatre Movie Passes.
