A total of 15 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at Greenhill Produce in Kent Bridge, bringing the total number of cases in Chatham-Kent to 135.
“95 of the confirmed cases are the result of an outbreak at a local workplace,” CK Public Health officials say, adding that 45 of these cases are active and 50 people have recovered.
Overall, there are 49 active COVID-19 cases across Chatham-Kent, no one is hospitalized and one person has died.
The total number of recoveries is 85.
In total, 2,324 COVID-19 tests have been administered to date, while 64 tests are pending.
There remains zero outbreaks at long-term care and retirement homes in Chatham-Kent.
