Meth, heroin and cocaine seized during a bust in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, members of the Intelligence Section with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a residence in Chatham.

Approximately $28,000 worth of suspected methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine was seized.

Officers also located stolen property in the home.

A 30-year-old Chatham man was charged with being in possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000 and three counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking.

He was released pending a future court date of August 13, 2020.
