Update: Black Lives Matter rally draws 1,500 to 2,000 people

The Chatham-Kent Police Service has released some updated figures for the Black Lives Matter rally, which was held Friday evening in Chatham.

“After further information was received, it is now believed that the rally which occurred on Friday, June 5 at 7 p.m. had upwards of 1,50 to 2,000 community members who took part,” police officials said in a media release on Sunday, June 7.
