COVID-19 Healthcare Relief Fund tops $300,000

The president and CEO of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation is thrilled with the community support shown during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The generosity in the last few weeks has been unlike anything we’ve ever seen before,” Mary Lou Crowley said in a newsletter.

“Thank you Chatham-Kent for coming together in support of our hospital and our Healthcare Heroes. The COVID-19 Healthcare Relief Fund has now raised $300,000. I am so profoundly grateful.

Crowley said with “incredible support” from local service clubs, community organizations, local businesses, and individual donors, they have been able to keep their patients and staff protected at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance during COVID-19.

“Thank you to our healthcare heroes who have remained committed to keeping our community safe and are working to provide the best quality healthcare possible,” she added.

“Thank you Chatham-Kent for staying strong and staying positive.”
