Rob Barnes

It is with great sorrow and heavy hearts that the family of Rob Barnes announces his passing.

He will be missed every day by his wife of 38 years, Lyndee Barnes.

She was his best friend, his travel companion and the love of his life.

They were seldom seen apart and never left each other’s company for long.

He will be missed by his family and friends as he was always the first one to make you laugh.

He loved to travel and explore new things and never turned down a chance to see something new.

He and Lyndee have many memories of the road trips and adventures they shared.

Rob was the son of Bob and the late Bonnie Barnes.

Brother of Cindy Barnes.

Uncle of Beth Ann and Steve Wolfe, and Vincent.

Rob was also the son-in-law of Audrey Boam.

Rob will be fondly remembered by many cousins and extended family.

Rob was a self taught master of all trades and so smart.

He could do anything he wanted to do.

He built a home for himself and Lyndee with a view of the bay and appreciated seeing the sunset and the quiet moments they stole on the porch.

He loved animals and loved the outdoors, and never could stand to see anyone down and out.

On a nice day you would never find him inside, he would be outside working at one of his many projects.

He was a great cook and he loved to entertain his friends.

He could wheel and deal with the best of them and enjoyed the hunt for a new treasure everywhere he went.

Rob loved water and many memories were made on the lake.

He loved the kids and always made time to show them something new or give them things to explore with.

They will miss his stories and his jokes.

Rob always loved a good practical joke.

He has touched so many lives and his memory will live on with us forever.

Time passes, memories stay.

Loved and remembered everyday.

Any Donations are welcome to the Chatham Kent Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
