Kniaziew Optometry moves into Sarnia – Lambton with Petrolia location

Kniaziew Optometry continues its strong growth – expanding into Sarnia-Lambton with a new location in
Petrolia. Their newest office will be at 413 Wingfield Street, right across from historic Victoria Hall. This
is the first of 3 planned locations over the next 12 months in Sarnia-Lambton. The Kniaziew Optometry
team will be taking over the practice of Dr. D. Gail Tanner. Dr. Tanner will stay with the team over the
next year to help with the transition.
“Dr. Tanner has done a tremendous job for the community of Petrolia and we want to carry on her
strong legacy” says Dr. Richard Kniaziew, Founder and President of Kniaziew Optometry.
It is also another example of Kniaziew’s commitment to offering world-class eye health care in South
Western Ontario.
“Dr. Kniaziew was one of my mentors in the early years of my career. I have always admired his
commitment to his own family and community, as well as to the profession of optometry in Ontario. I
am confident that my patients will be in good hands with Dr. Kniaziew and his team of Optometrists”
says Dr. Tanner.
The Petrolia location will be a full-service office and include pre-testing, comprehensive eye
examinations, and a dispensing area. Our on-location lab ensures patients get both timely and quality
service. Our environmentally sustainable wooden frames by “Jordan” – our exclusive design and local
brand — will also be featured here.
“Kniaziew Optometry is a great example of a business that has been welcomed with open arms in
Petrolia and demonstrates how positive the growth opportunities in Sarnia-Lambton are,” said Brad
Loosley, Mayor of Petrolia.
Kniaziew Optometry has been serving patients’ eye health care needs in Southwestern Ontario for over
four decades with practices in Leamington, Essex, Tecumseh, Wallaceburg, Blenheim, and Chatham.
Kniaziew Optometry offers a wide range of Optometry services and eye care products; including
eyeglasses, specialty eyewear, frames, sunglasses and contact lenses.
