Break and enter in Camden Township

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime overnight unknown suspects entered an attached garage on Tramway Road.

No damage was caused to the garage.

Once inside, the suspects stole a 2010 GMC Sierra, pick up, 4 door white in colour bearing Ontario marker JR MACK, a 2002 Bomb TRX ATV green in colour bearing Ontario marker 72SA0, a blue air compressor and an Epic gas powered paint sprayer.

Total value of the theft has been estimated at $20,000.

Woman arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police located a female in Chatham who was wanted for breaching conditions of her probation order.

Subsequent to the arrest the female was found to have in her possession drugs.

The female was also charged with possession of a controlled substance
(methamphetamines).

A 19-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and released pending a future court date of August 13, 2020.

Man arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, St. Thomas Police located a Chatham man who was wanted on multiple outstanding Warrants.

CKPS attended and arrested the man.

The 53-year-old man of no fixed address was held in custody awaiting a bail hearing.

Woman arrested for assault

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police responded to an assault complaint on Selkirk Street in Chatham.

As a result of the investigation a Chatham female was charged with assault.

A 38-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and released pending a future court date of August 12, 2020.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police located a female on Grand Avenue West in Chatham who was wanted for assault.

A 19-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and released pending a future court date of August 12, 2020.

Traffic enforcement

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday members of the traffic management office teamed up with members of the Ministry of Transportation to conduct commercial motor vehicle inspections in the city of Chatham.

At the conclusion of this joint forces operation 27 inspections were conducted with 23 of these vehicles being taken out of service with 20 charges laid.
