Curbside service starting at the Dresden and Blenheim libraries

While library buildings remain closed, Chatham-Kent Public Library is pleased to announce that curbside service to library patrons is now available at the Dresden, Blenheim, Ridgetown, Tilbury, Wallaceburg and Chatham branches.

Starting the week of August 4, curbside service will begin at Dresden and Blenheim branches.

“Since Curbside Service was launched at Chatham Branch on June 16, patrons have already picked up over 13,500 items,” library officials said in a press release.

“Pickup is available outside the branch by appointment only. If you have holds ready for pickup, visit search.ckpl.ca and search for ‘Curbside Service’ to make an appointment.”

The health and safety of the library team and the public is important to Chatham-Kent Public Library, so precautions are in practice to keep everyone safe, library officials say.

If you are unwell, Chatham-Kent Public Library officials are asking that people cancel their appointment and keep library materials at home for a two week period.

“Please note library materials are quarantined for three days upon return before being checked in,” library officials say.

“Library fines are not being charged during curbside service.”
