Police: Trailer stolen, B&E in Chatham, crash in Chatham

Stolen trailer in Chatham Township

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime around 7:15 p.m. last night, the driver of a white Dodge Ram pick-up truck stole a trailer from a business on Prince Albert Road.

The trailer was last seen with Ontario license plate D7365V and is valued at approximately $1700.

Break and enter in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 5:30 p.m. unknown suspects forced their way into a home on Victoria Avenue and stole a generation 3 Alexa, black in colour.

Man charged with careless driving

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police responded to a collision on Edgar Street in Chatham.

A 61-year-old Chatham man struck a parked car, causing about $8,000 damage.

He was charged with careless driving.

No one was injured.
