Lambton OPP officials allege: On August 1, 2020 at approximately 11:30 a.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Lambton Shores Fire Department responded to a possible drowning in the waters of Lake Huron off the main beach in the Town of Grand Bend.
A 42-year-old from Brampton was pulled from the water via lifeguards and transported by Lambton EMS to the local hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
The name of the deceased will be released pending next of kin notification.
