Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: While investigating a domestic related incident, police observed the accused in the matter ride past the police station on his bicycle.
Once outside, police located the 31-year-old male, who had just caused damage to a car in the parking lot using a knife.
While officers approached the male, he began to run at them with the knife in hand.
Officers were quick to act and successfully deployed a taser on the male.
He was taken into custody and held pending a bail hearing.
