Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: As previously released last month, on July 18 an unknown man approached a teenage girl in Thamesville and tried to convince her to get into his vehicle.
The girl said no and the man drove away.
Due to the power of social media and investigative techniques, the man and vehicle were identified.
The 26-year-old Thamesville man has been spoken to regarding his actions.
No criminal charges will be laid.
The Chatham-Kent Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.
