Theft from storage unit in Wallaceburg
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Monday at 5 p.m. and Wednesday at 1 p.m. unknown suspects forced their way into a storage unit on Arnold Street and stole:
– Orange and white 150cc dirt bike with ‘Liefan’ on the motor
– 12” black Rockville speakers x2
– Pioneer DJ DDJ 400 Controller
– White and gray Vankyo projector
– Xbox gaming system with controllers
– Red and black DJ mixing board
– Black condenser microphone x2
– Black cinematography system
– Solar controller with panels and invertor
– 50” Vizio television
Total value of the theft has been estimate at $5,000.

Man charged with failing to comply
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 12, 2020 the man was released from custody with several conditions.
One of those conditions stated that he was not to communicate with a specific Tilbury woman or attend her place of employment.
Yesterday, the man attended the woman’s place of work in Chatham and tried to speak with her.
The 52-year-old Chatham man was arrested last night and charged with two counts of failing to comply with his release conditions.
He was released pending a future court date of November 3, 2020.
Man charged with domestic related offences
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police received information about a domestic disturbance between a couple in Chatham.
Through investigation, police learned that a verbal argument escalated into a physical altercation resulting in the man assaulting the woman, throwing a glass of water at her and damaging property in the home.
Officers further learned that this was not the first incident of domestic violence during their marriage.
The 35-year-old man was arrested and charged with forcible confinement, mischief, two counts of assault with a weapon and five counts of assault. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Motor vehicle collisions
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Talbot Street West between George Street and Marlborough Street in Blenheim.
No one was injured.
Total damage was estimated at $3,500.
A 59-year-old Erieau woman was charged with an offence contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Pioneer Line near Prince Albert Road.
Police believe the driver, a 32-year-old Chatham woman suffered a medical event, resulting in her vehicle leaving the roadway and striking a tree.
The woman sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention.
Total damage was estimated at $20,000.
Break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Friday and yesterday, unknown suspects forced their way into a locked storage room attached to a residential building currently under construction on Michener Road.
Once inside, the suspects stole several kitchen cabinets.
The suspects also stole five air conditioning units from a storage container on the property and several 4’ copper pipes for the units.
Total value of the theft has been estimated at $10,000.
The cost to replace the copper piping and repair the damaged doors is approximately $5,000.

Mischief in Thamesville
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime over the summer months, unknown suspects striped the copper wiring and metal from four roof top heating / air conditioning units at TR Plastics on London Road.
Total damage has been estimated at $60,000.

Stolen dirt bike in Blenheim
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime yesterday afternoon, unknown suspects stole a blue BAJA dirt bike from a parking lot on Chittim Road.
The bike has a 90cc frame with 50cc motor.
Total value of the theft has been estimated at $200.
