Update: Arrest made after fail to remain collisions in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Saturday, September 12, 2020 police responded to two separate fail to remain collisions in the Wallaceburg area.

No one was injured, however total damage was estimated at $12,000.

Through investigation, police obtained a photo of the driver and asked for the public’s assistance in identifying him.

Due to the power of social media, the man was identified.

Last night, a 44-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to stop after an accident.

He was released pending a future court date of October 28, 2020.
