Active COVID-19 case count rises to 28 in Chatham-Kent

The active case count has risen to 28 across Chatham-Kent, CK Public Health officials say.

The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit updated their ‘current situation’ page, which provides a summary of COVID-19 cases and testing in Chatham-Kent, on Thursday, November 12, 2020.

There is one active workplace outbreak, one active outbreak at a place of worship and one active outbreak in a congregate setting in Chatham-Kent.

11 of the active cases are linked to the workplace outbreak, 11 are linked to close contact, two are pending more information, two are unknown, one is linked to an outbreak in a community setting and one is linked to travel.

The total number of cases in Chatham-Kent has risen to 445.

CK Public Health officials say no one is currently hospitalized with COVID-19 from Chatham-Kent.

To date, 414 people have recovered from the virus in Chatham-Kent, while three people have died.

A total of 39,614 tests for the virus have been completed to date.
