MP3 player stolen from Wallaceburg business

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police have arrested a man for theft and possession of property obtained by crime.

On November 22, 2020 at approximately 9:15 a.m. police responded to a theft complaint at a Wallaceburg business.

The suspect was captured on video taking an MP3 player and placing it into his coat pocket.

The male then ran towards the front door exit of the store, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise.

The accused, a 23-year-old Chatham man remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
