Ronald Richard Janssens, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the age of 76.
Ron is now reunited with his beloved wife Evelyn (Aug,2020) and will be survived by his daughters Leslie Myers Young (Kris Young) and Marlo Janssens and his cherished grandchildren Ashley, Zachary and Skye.
Ron is the son of the late Albert Janssens and Bertha and Albert Kerkhof.
Son-in-law of the late Fred and Rose Nowakowski.
Dearest brother of Shirley Bondy (late Marvin), Larry (Kathi) Janssens, Fran (Ted) Webb, Murray Kerkhof, Alan Kerkhof, brother-in-law of the late Gerhard Nowakowski and surviving spouse Uta, late Sylvia Glasgow and surviving Paul Glasgow.
He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, best friend Wayne, and many friends in the community and at the Oaks Retirement Village.
Ron was a farmer at heart and had such a passion for the open land.
He loved his life on his farm. He was well known for his humour, quick wit, one liners, a special way with people, generosity, and love for his family.
The family will be having a private gathering to celebrate Ron’s life at a later date.
