Mr. John Vernon Cracknell, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, in Chatham, at the age of 71.
John was born in Chatham and was a son of the late John and Lenore (Nurse) Cracknell.
Beloved husband of Deborah (Gyssels) Cracknell.
Kind brother-in-law of Ken Morrison and Joe and Marney Gyssels.
Predeceased by his sister Joleene Morrison and a brother-in-law Patrick Gyssels.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
John was a life member of the Wallaceburg Power Squadron and the former owner of John’s Lawn Care. He loved to fish and wood working. Over the years John had many K9 friends and loved them as children.
The late John Cracknell rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following his wishes, cremation will take place.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Dialysis Unit in London or the Chatham-Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
