Martha Mann of Port Lambton

Martha Ann Mann, a resident of Port Lambton, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health in Sarnia on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the age of 78.

Martha is the daughter of the late John Dustin & Alice Maude (Fisher) Forbes.

Predeceased by her beloved husband David (March 2020) and son David Michael Mann (1996) Cherished mother of Mary Mann – McCavitt (Frank) and Christy Mann Duffy (Randy).

Dear Grandmother of Amira (Jeremy), Keely (Geoff), Zoe, Mya, Liam and Cole.

She will be deeply missed by her sister Mary Bonner (David), Brother in law Robert Mann (Marilyn), Sisters-in- law Jeanette (Don) Mann, Ariel (Alan) Mann and Janet (Herman) Mann.

She was loved by many nieces and nephews in her large family.

Martha taught at A.A. Wright, D.A. Gordon and W.T. Lang schools in Wallaceburg.

She was one of the first learning disabilities teacher in the area.

Martha and her husband David were musically gifted, performing duets around southwestern Ontario in various benefit concerts for many different community services.

They enjoyed travelling the world together and wintering in Portugal.

Martha’s true love and purpose was for her family, she was also an avid gardener, who enjoyed the simple pleasures of nature and birds, through the gift of her photography.

A Celebration of Martha’s life will be held at a later date.

The arrangements have been entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.
