Found – stray chicken in Wallaceburg

This stray chicken was picked up this morning just outside of McNaughton Family Dental in Wallaceburg. It is a young female hen, breed is suspected to be Opal Legbar, or Leghorn mixed, or mottled lavender leghorn from first glances. It doesn’t seem to be physically injured but the tail feathers are frayed, the rest of the coat looks good, just a little dirty. It is currently being kept in a quiet basement in a large tote, has been eating and drinking well, and is under a heat lamp to warm up since its been snowy and cold lately. It is very calm, quiet, and friendly/isn’t afraid of people. If you have lost this chicken, please message Kendra HERE.
