Henriette Knowles, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away at Fairfield Park on Friday, December 4, 2020, at the age of 85.
Henriette is the cherished daughter of the late Peter and Harriet (Waltersyoot) Boel.
Beloved wife of the late William Allaer (1968) and her greatest advocate – Donald Knowles.
Loving mother and stepmother of Elizabeth (Mark) Nowakowski, Denise DeDobbeleer, Victoria (Malcom) Fox, Denise (Carl) Benn, Graham (Rosemary) Knowles and the late Raymond Knowles (2018).
Dear sister and sister-in-law of Amelie Boel (2010), Joe and Joan (2019) Boel, Matilda and Jerry (2005) Vyvey and Ted and Linda Boel.
Cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt to many.
Henriette enjoyed travelling, walking with her lifelong friend, Lisa, playing cards, needlepoint and a glass of fine wine.
Her children claim she made the best French fries in the world.
A private family service will be held with interment at Riverview Cemetery.
