Family Literacy Day is January 27 and the Chatham-Kent Public Library is celebrating by offering Family Literacy Day Kits to patrons throughout the month of January.
Library officials say borrow a bag of books, a storykit, a game, or a puzzle from Chatham-Kent Public Library in January and your child will receive a Family Literacy Day Kit.
Family Literacy Day Kits include a craft, fortune teller activities, literacy ideas, and more.
Also included in the kit is CKPL’s Literacy BINGO.
Complete a line on the BINGO card and return it to any CKPL branch before Saturday, February 27 for a chance to win a literacy prize pack, library officials say.
“We love seeing you and your family engaging in literacy activities, so send us a photo on social media with the tag #FLDCKPL to get an extra ticket for Literacy BINGO draw,” library officials said in a press release.
