Sarnia Police Service officials allege: On January 9, 2021, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a residence in the 900 block of Confederation Street regarding a male who had sustained injuries.
The victim was immediately transported to hospital where a short time later he was pronounced deceased.
The victim was identified as Luis Enrique Hernandez, 26 years of age, of Sarnia.
The Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch have continued their investigation into the homicide and had obtained a warrant to arrest the suspect in this incident.
On January 12, 2021, shortly before 1 p.m., Timothy James Noj, 32 years of age, of Sarnia, was arrested at a local motel.
Noj now faces a second degree murder charge in the death of Mr. Hernandez.
Noj is in custody and is being held for a bail hearing on January 13, 2021.
