Granville Boutilier of Wallaceburg

Mr. Granville Boutilier, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the age of 82 years.

He was born in Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia a son of the late Hensley Boutilier and Carrie (Peters) Gilby.

Beloved husband of Catherine (MacNeil) Boutilier.

Loving father of Granville Jr. (Susan “Sooky”) Boutilier, Carrie (Mike) Myers and the late Kaid Boutilier.

Dear grandfather of David, Melissa (Mike), Travis (April), Trena (Chad), Ashley (Rod), Michael (Courtney), Michelle (Gord) and Scott (Tylene).

Dear great grandfather of Layne, Brooklyn, Olivia, Jillian, Ashley, Lydia, Austin, Ty, Nolan, Isabelle, Summer, Brett, Taylor, Madison, Luke, Lylah and Paetyn.

Kind brother and brother-in-law of Lila, Heather (Bruce) and Pat. Predeceased by his sister May, his brothers Basil and Lloyd and brothers-in-law Rusty, Charlie and Donald.

Also survived by several of Catherine’s brother and sisters. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews family and friends.

He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 235 Windsor, Ontario.

He took great pride in working 35 years for H H Robertson and finishing his career with Riverside Group.

The late Granville Boutilier rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.

A private family service was held at the funeral home with interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
