There is now one active COVID-19 case on Walpole Island.
Officials on the First Nation reserve made the announcement on social media on Monday, February 8, 2021.
There have been 36 total positive cases in the community since the pandemic began last March.
Walpole Island officials say 586 COVID-19 tests have been conducted, with 550 negative results.
There have been 34 recoveries on Walpole and one death.
Walpole Island officials say if residents are experiencing symptoms, they should self-isolate immediately and call the Walpole Island Health Centre at 519-627-0765 or after hours, call Telehealth at 1-866-797-0000.
