Chatham-Kent OPP officials allege: On February 13, 2021, at approximately 3:50 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Chatham-Kent detachment received a report of collision between two snowmobiles.
The collision took place on Lake St. Clair near Mitchell’s Bay.
Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services and Chatham-Kent Emergency Medical Services (EMS) attended.
One person was pronounced deceased at the scene and one person was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The collision is under investigation.
OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) are assisting with the investigation.
