Helen Vynckier of Wallaceburg

Mrs. Helen (Foster) Vynckier, of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully in her 94th year on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Fairfield Park, with her family by her side.

Helen was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late James and Anna (Belanger) Foster. Beloved wife of the late George Vynckier (2017).

Dear mother and mother-in-law of Jim & Cindy Vynckier, Gary & Darlene Vynckier, Rick & Shelley Vynckier and Janice Vankerkhoven (Barry Pauwels). Loving grandmother of Jeff (Sommer), Carolyn, Melissa (Shawn), Kyle, Tim (Kayla), Chad (Bree), Adam, Shauna and Amy. Loving great grandmother of Maiya, Lucas and Aiden. Kind sister-in-law of Ursula Foster and sister-in-law and dear friend of Bob and Francine Vynckier.

Predeceased by her brothers Francis Foster and Bernard (the late Marjorie) Foster and her sister Theresa (the late Bill) Guertin.

Helen Loved to spend time with her grandchildren, baking and playing cards. She enjoyed socializing with lifelong friends at dances and kitchen parties. Helen was a member of the Holy Family Church and the Catholic Women’s League for over 68 years.

The late Helen Vynckier rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Due to covid restrictions a private family funeral service will be held with a celebration of her life at a later date. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
