B&E and assault charges laid in Thamesville

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 5:30 a.m., police responded to a break and enter complaint in Thamseville.

The victim advised her ex-boyfriend and his friend just broke into her house, assaulted her, and then left with their baby.

The 21-year-old ex-boyfriend and his 19-year-old female friend were located by police shortly after and arrested for break and enter and assault.

The baby was located safe and sound and returned to the mother.

Both suspects were released with a future court date of March 26, 2021.
