OPP: $46,000 worth of illegal drugs seized in Lambton

Lambton OPP officials allege: On March 3, 2021, members of Lambton County and Elgin-Middlesex County Community Street Crimes Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) paired up to execute a warrant on Michigan Line, Plympton-Wyoming Township following an extensive drug trafficking investigation in the Camlachie area.

Police seized illegal drugs consisting of suspected cocaine and psilocybin (mushrooms) from the residence with an approximate street value of $46,000.

As a result, a 42-year-old Plympton-Wyoming man and a 38-year-old Plympton-Wyoming woman were arrested and each charged with:

– Possession of a Schedule I Substance For the Purpose of Trafficking (CDSA).

– Possession of a Schedule III Substance For the Purpose of Trafficking (CDSA).

The accused have been released and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice-Sarnia on a later date.
