The Knights of Pythias in Wallaceburg have decided to cancel their annual Easter Egg Hunt for the second year in a row, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Doug McCallum, an executive member with the Wallaceburg group, confirmed the news with the Sydenham Current.
“With the way this lockdown and the way we’re jumping back and forth into different groupings, we thought it would be wise to cancel because you never know, we may be back into grey/lockdown,” McCallum said.
The hunt would have taken place on the Saturday of Easter weekend on April 3, 2021.
McCallum said the event is on the “backburner” until next year.
