Youth charged with failing to comply
Chatham-Kent Po0lice Service officials allege: On March 18, 2021 the youth was released from Court with several conditions.
Two of those conditions stated that he was not to attend two specific addresses in Shrewsbury.
Last night, around 5:30 p.m. the youth was observed on the first property by the homeowner.
The youth fled and was observed around 8:30 p.m. on the second property.
Officers located the youth and he was taken into custody.
The 15-year-old youth has been charged with two counts of failing to comply with his release conditions.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Traffic stop leads to charges
Chatham-Kent Po0lice Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, an officer on general patrol observed a man driving in Wallaceburg with license plates that were not authorized for the vehicle.
A traffic stop was initiated and the 34-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with driving while under suspension, using plates not authorized for the vehicle and failing to surrender his insurance card.
The man will be required to attend Provincial Offences Court at a later date.
The license plates were seized and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
Theft of utility trailer in Wallaceburg
Chatham-Kent Po0lice Service officials allege: Sometime between Sunday at 5 p.m. and Monday at 9 a.m. unknown suspects stole a grey 2015 Legend utility trailer from a business on Murray Street.
The trailer was last seen with Ontario license plate M7808W.
