Police: Weapons charge, failing to attend court, warrants

Man arrested on warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 26, 2021 at approximately 6:45 a.m. the Chatham-Kent Police responded to an unwanted person at a local business.

The unwanted person was sleeping in a bathroom and refused to leave.

The man was identified by officers and found to have an outstanding warrant for possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The 26-year-old man was arrested and released with conditions and a court date.

Woman arrested on warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 26, 2021 at approximately 9:30 p.m. the Chatham-Kent Police responded to a report of two intoxicated persons outside of a local business.

A man was found to be intoxicated and was transported to an area hospital for care.

A woman was medical cleared at the scene and was found to have an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

The woman was held pending a bail hearing.

Man arrested on warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On March 26, 2021 at approximately 12:14 p.m. the Chatham-Kent Police responded to an address in Port Lambton with members of the OPP.

A 25-year-old man was located at this address and arrested on an outstanding warrant.

The man was released from Chatham-Kent Police custody to the OPP as they also had outstanding warrants for the man.
