Residents over the age of 60 invited to book COVID-19 vaccination appointments

Beginning on April 7, 2021, CK Public Health is inviting those residents over the age of 60 (born in 1961 or earlier) to book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment.

Public health officials say residents are encouraged to book their vaccination appointment online at GetYourShotCK.ca.

By booking an appointment with the new registration system, residents will get immediate confirmation of an appointment.

For those residents wishing to book an appointment by phone, please call and leave a message on our COVID-19 vaccination phone line at 519-351-1010.

CK Public Health say residents 60 years and over with a last name starting with A-M please can call Monday, Wednesday and Friday, while residents 60 years and over with a last name starting with N-Z can call Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

“Messages can be left 24 hours a day and calls are returned Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m… except for Statutory Holidays,” CK Public Health officials say.

“This new age bracket includes a large segment of our population. It may take a number of days before your call is returned. Please be patient; once you have left a message you do not need to call again.”
