Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A male was located on Keil Drive in Chatham.

He had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

The male was arrested and found in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

Fraud arrest in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A male attempted to cash a cheque at a local business in Chatham that did not belong to him.

He was located and arrested for fraud, utter forged document and possession stolen property.

He was then transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and released with a future court date of May 26.

Weapons dangerous, breach of release, resist police and escape lawful custody

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A call was received by the Chatham-Kent Police for a male walking down the road with an axe in the area of St. Michaels School in Ridgetown.

The male was located near a second address where he was on a release not to attend.

The male was approached by police and placed under arrest.

During the arrest a struggle took place and the male tried to flee.

He was subsequently arrested.

The male was taken to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

Theft in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A male stole a bottle from the local LCBO.

He was identified and located later in the day.

This was the third theft charge against this male.

He was placed under arrest and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and held for a bail hearing.

Arrest in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A suspicious male complaint was received for a business on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.

The male was located and found to be on a release not to be at this business with respect to previous police involvement.

He was placed under arrest and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held for a bail hearing.

Break, enter and theft in Chatham.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A homeowner came home to discover their property had been entered.

The police are currently investigating this incident and have possible suspects.
