Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police are looking for information regarding a break and enter in Chatham.

Sometime between April 10, 2021 and April 12, 2021 the unknown suspects attended to a building on Queen Street and cut the metal fence to gain entry into the compound.

Items taken included wire and tools.

Man arrested for theft

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police have arrested a man in connection with a theft investigation yesterday in Chatham.

At approximately 10:19 a.m. the accused attended a business on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.

He proceeded to take multiple meats and chesses and then left the store without making any attempts to pay for the items in his possession.

Police located the accused and determined that he was in possession of the stolen property.

A 39-year-old Moraviantown man was arrested, charged and released with a court date of April 16, 2021.

Break and enter in Harwich Township

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police are looking for information regarding a break and enter in Harwich Township.

Sometime between April 9, 2021 and April 12, 2021 the unknown suspects broke into the secured compound located on Pinehurst Line and removed the catalytic converters from two vehicles.

The value of the theft is estimated at $2,000.

Break and enter in Tilbury

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police are looking for information regarding a theft in Tilbury.

Sometime over the weekend the unknown suspects attended to the rear of the business on Mill Street West and removed a catalytic converter from a vehicle.

The value of the theft is estimated at $1,500.

Woman arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police have arrested a woman wanted on an outstanding warrant for mischief and fail to attend court.

On April 12, 2021, police located the accused on Adelaide Street in Shrewsbury.

She was subsequently arrested and released with conditions and is required to appear in court on June 8, 2021.
