Wallaceburg Museum Volunteer Jobs

At the Wallaceburg Museum bingo is one of our biggest fundraisers, and we are currently unable to run any events until September when we can apply for our license again.

To apply for the license we need two (2) signing authorities (see description below) . Please consider volunteering with us or if you know someone who may wish to help ask them to call 519-627-8962 or email: businessadmin@wallaceburgmuseum.ca. We are counting on you.

Bingo Signing Authority
Job Description: Sign licensing agreements with commission and sign off bingo financial records for the evening.
Hold one of the four positions at function.
Hours of Work: Work every other bingo, weeknights or weekends.

Other volunteer positions include:

Artistic Designer
Job Description: Assist curator and building maintenance team, to design, create and implement eye catching, unique exhibits and displays.
Useful Skills: an eye for detail and organizational skills.
Hours of Work: Ongoing Tuesday and Friday unless otherwise scheduled.

Storyboard Writers
Job Description: Assist curator and building maintenance team to design, create storyboards to help visitors visualize the story behind the history.
Useful Skills: an eye for detail and organizational skills.
Hours of Work: Ongoing Tuesday and Friday unless otherwise scheduled.

Education Consultant
Job Description: Assist Curator and Event Marketing Coordinator with research, create and design recommendations for educational programs and materials to collaborate with current school board curriculum.
Useful Skills: ability to summarize program and content for implementation, maintain records and reports, knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database programs, an eye for detail and organizational skills.
Hours of Work: Ongoing Tuesday and Friday unless otherwise scheduled.
