Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: In the early morning hours on Grand River Line Chatham-Kent unknown suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and garage and stole various items.

Woman arrested for use of stolen credit card

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police were investigating a stolen purse where several credit cards were taken and used at different locations.

Through investigation a woman was arrested on Wedgewood Avenue in Chatham.Ā 

The woman was charged with theft and possession under $5,000, use stolen credit card and fraud under $5,000.

She was was released with a future court date of August 3, 2021.

DisturbanceĀ leads to assault/mischief charge

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police were contacted with respect to a disturbance in a residence on Dove Place in Chatham.

A 25-year-old man who had been drinking caused damages to the residence and assaulted another resident.

The male was arrested for one count of mischief and one count of assault and held for bail.

Traffic stops leads to impaired and Highway Traffic Act charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: An uplated motorcycle was observed on Duke Street in Chatham.

The motorcycle was stopped and the driver found to be under the influence of alcohol.

The male was arrested and charged with impaired and 80 plus along with Highway Traffice Act offences of no plates, no insurance and no license.

His vehicle was impounded and he was released with a future court date of August 11, 2021.
