Drug bust in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, members of the Chatham-Kent Intelligence Section executed two Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants at separate residences in Wallaceburg.

Approximately $13,700 worth of suspected methamphetamine and cocaine was seized.

Digital scales, a cell phone, packaging material and large amount of Canadian and American currency were also seized.

A 44-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with two counts of possession for the purposes of trafficking.

He was released pending a future court date of September 2, 2021
