RIDE program leads to arrest in Rondeau

A man who was stopped and found to be suspended from driving.
Further investigation found the man had several outstanding warrants and was breaching a previous release.
The man was transported to Chatham-Kent Headquarters and held for bail.
The vehicle being driven was impounded for 45 days due to the driving suspensions.
Weapons Charges in Tecumseh Park in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Several youths were walking in Tecumseh Park in Chatham.
A man approached the group and brandished a knife.
The police were contacted and attended the park.
The man was located and arrested for assault with a weapon and possessing a prohibited weapon.
The man was released with a court date of August 27, 2021.
