CKRec bringing back in-person programming

CKRecreation is thrilled to announce that in accordance with Step 3 of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen, in-person recreation programs are back this fall. The CKRecreation team has a full slate of programs beginning in October including fan favourites such as Learn to Skate and Inclusive Recreation options.

“Our team is excited to build on the momentum of a very successful summer camp program,” said Ann Robinson, Manager of Recreation Services, in a media release.

“The success of camps demonstrated that there is significant demand for meaningful and safe recreation activities for the citizens of Chatham-Kent. We are confident our program roster offers the activities our community is looking for this fall.”

Recreation operations will comply with Ontario’s Covid-19 regulations, including the Proof of Vaccination requirement.

All individuals aged 12 and over entering a CKRecreation program/facility must provide proof of full vaccination and photo ID.

Individuals aged 11 and under are eligible to enter the program/facility, Municipal officials say.

If they are accompanied by an adult, the adult must provide proof of vaccination and photo ID.
