Basil William John, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 65.
Basil is the son of the late Pauline John. Caring Step-father of Ada, Shawn, Graham and grandfather of Zachary and Emily.
Loved brother of Judy Allen, Marie Short, John, Ken John, Blair John, Ross John and the late Wilma Kenney, Melvin John and Morgan John.
He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather at 148 Firehall Subdivision Rd. for visitation beginning on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 1pm until the Funeral Service on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 1pm.
Held at Highbanks Cemetery. Masks and social distancing are mandatory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home (409 Nelson St) in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231).
