Odessa Estella Patterson, a resident of RR 7 Dresden, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at residence at the age of 95. Born in Chatham Township, the daughter of the late John and Stella (Travis) Myers. Beloved wife of the late Harold Scott Patterson (1998). Predeceased by brother Laird Myers. Loving Mother of Doyle (Gayle) and Blake (Rachelle). Odessa was the proud Grannie to four boys. Ryan (Andrea), Kent (Katie), Reese and Jeffrey, and Great Grannie Patterson of Maya, Langston, Travis and Tayshon.
In her early years, Odessa worked at Wally Enterprises, Wallaceburg, Public General Hospital (Chatham-Kent Health Alliance), and upon retirement from North American Plastics, Wallaceburg, she volunteered at the Alzheimer Society, Chatham.
Odessa was a hard worker who put her family first. Her passion was helping people, hosting Birthday Gatherings and the Patterson Family Reunion at her home.
She will be greatly missed by friends and family.
A private family service will be held at Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, Dresden with interment in Dresden Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
