Charles ‘Chuck’ Juryn

It saddens us to announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Charles Edward Peter ‘Chuck’ Juryn in his home October 11, 2021 at the age of 79.

Loving Father of Scott (Michele), Chris (Amanda) and Peter (Keely).

Cherished grandpa and gramps to Jaxon, Kinsley, Colton and Sydney.

Son of the late William and Mary Juryn and dear brother of Victoria (the late William) Donohue.

He will be remembered fondly by his niece and nephews as well as his many friends.

Chuck moved to Wallaceburg in the 60’s where he started as a guidance counsellor, transitioning to an English Teacher at WDSS where he taught many of Wallaceburg’s youth over his 42 plus years in Education.

In his younger years he enjoyed figure staking and nurtured his love of performing and attending the Theater.

He was an avid golfer and prolific bowler; winning many tournaments with his sons.

He transitioned to curling in his later years, never missing a week or the after-game lunches.

Chuck was a staple at the Community Dinners and was an active member of Bethel Pentecostal Church.

Chuck was also known for his movie collection, rivaling even the local Movie Time with many still in their original packaging.

Family and friends are invited for visitation at the Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle (35 McNaughton Ave, Wallaceburg) on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8pm.

Funeral Services will be held at the church on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 2pm.
