COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics coming to Wallaceburg & Dresden high schools

The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit are hosting a pair of COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics at Wallaceburg District Secondary School and Lambton-Kent Composite School in Dresden.

The LKCS clinic is being held on Thursday, October 21, 2021, while the WDSS clinic is being held on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Here are the details:

“With multiple COVID-19 vaccines now approved for use in Canada, the best vaccine for you is the one that is most readily available,” CK Public Health officials said on their website.

“Everyone born 2009 and earlier is now eligible to be vaccinated against COVID-19. This is the best way to protect yourself, your family and your community.”

CK Public Health officials added: “Vaccines are safe, effective and the best way to protect you and those around you from serious illnesses like COVID-19. Vaccines work with your immune system so your body will be ready to fight the virus if you are exposed. This can reduce your risk of developing COVID-19 and make your symptoms milder if you do get it.”
