Erma Mailloux

Erma Jean (Labor) Mailloux, a lifelong resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully at Fiddick’s Nursing Home, Petroila Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the age of 86.

Erma was born in Parry Sound and was a daughter of the late Nelson Rondeau and Lilian (Clapp) Shaw.

Beloved wife of the late Donald Mailloux (2016) and the late Donald DeMars (1983).

Loving mother of Mike (Cindy) DeMars, Paul (Judy) DeMars, Mark (the late Sue) DeMars, and Peggy (Rick) Conliffe.

Dear grandmother of Paul DeMars (Michele), Chris DeMars (Waka), Jen Hrach (Jason), Barbara Dailey (Scott), David Chatterton (Kata), John DeMars, Lorrie Bogaert (Brad) and great grandmother of Joseph, Samantha, Violet, Madeline, Lily, Grace, Cole, Brodie, Brooklyn, Trent, Kayla, Finn, Sawyer. Kind sister of Nelson (Pat) Labor and sister-in-law of Simone Labor.

Predeceased by her brother Bud Labor, sister Florence Tilleman and brother-in-law Roger Tilleman.

Erma enjoyed spending time and traveling with her life long best friend Josie Carroll.

Erma retired after a long career with Libbey St. Clair/Glass as supervisor of the computer department.

Anyone who knew Erma knew of her enjoyment for all crafts.

She taught sewing and ceramics, and she enjoyed bowling, archery and darts.

She was a member of the Wallaceburg Branch 18 Legion.

The late Erma Mailloux rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.

Following her wishes, cremation will take place.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the St. James Anglican Church may be left at the funeral home.
